What To Expect
My Working style
My workflow for family shoots is the epitome of ‘go with the flow’. Your family and I are a TEAM during these photoshoots and I promise we can get even the grumpiest of toddlers to crack a smile.
Direction
With the kiddos, I tend to give soft but direct prompts throughout the session which will help create moments of fun and bonding.
Sometimes my prompts might be ‘what can you see out the window’ or ‘do you want to give mummy a hug?’… if they’re not into it or playing ball that is absolutely fine, we move onto the next. It’s all about finding whatever provides a distraction and keeps them engaged.
Atmosphere
I want your session to feel like the fun aunt has just come over to hang out in your living room or popped along for a family forest walk. I’ll be tickling the kids, chasing them around, all whilst using my camera… skilled I know!

Booking in advance is always recommended, but the general answer is whenever!
If you have a particular milestone you’re looking to capture or just want some updated photos of your family whilst they grow, that’s what I’’m here for.

Your family session can take place at your home or a location of your choice.
If you know you’d like to have your session at the forest or the beach, for example, but aren’t sure where would be best then please do let me know! I have a handful of locations I have scouted that are great for outdoor shoots.

When you book a session with me you will receive a style guide full of tips and tricks for clothing the whole family.
I also have a collection of dresses in a range of sizes for mum to borrow if you wish!

Don’t worry, this is my area of expertise! I have a wealth of experience in a range of different homes & rooms with all sorts of light available.
If you have any concerns we can chat this through before your book & I have some tips and tricks up my sleeve that we can use throughout your session!

There are a range of different upgrade options to suit every budget so if you can’t walk away with just 15, then don’t worry, I’ve got you covered.

4 weeks after our shoot together, you’ll receive a link to your private online gallery where you can download your images.
All photos are professionally edited and provided within your gallery so you can chose your favourites to keep forever.
If you decide that 15 digital photos just isn’t enough then there are upgrade options available (some including prints that are sent straight to your home if you’re after some keepsakes).
